Mladen Delic: Je li to moguce? (Is it possible?)
|
|
As the World Cup gets under way in Germany in 2006, here is a video of an old game with the comment from the legendary Croatian sports commentator Mladen Delic. His comments during the final minutes of the game between former Yugoslavia and Bulgaria in 1983 in Split (qualifications for European championships) were one of those moments that everyone remembers. Yugoslavia scored literally in the last moment and qualified for the European championship tournament. His comments 'Je li to moguce?' (Is it possible?) or 'Pa ovo je ludnica' (This is a mad house) during that game are still used by the population in general. Watch the video from YouTube. Mladen Delic died in 2005...
